Photo taken by Reni Maria of me at my own wedding

Hi, I’m Jacki, a New York based documentary photographer that loves photographing weddings.

Rooted in journalistic photography practices, I approach weddings as a storyteller— focused on real emotion, natural light, subtle gestures, and quiet moments that make up the day.

My work spans many arenas of photography—personal, editorial, and commissioned—but the topics I’m interested in all converge around a similar themes: rites of passage and our shared humanity

In addition to my own practice, I teach both digital and analog photography at Columbia University and the International Center of Photography. I recieved my MFA from Columbia University in 2019.
